The reason we have painful situations in our lives, is because the Lord loves us and wants us to come closer to Him. He knows that, on one hand, He and He alone has everything we need - that He has the healing, the happiness, the peace and joy our souls long for. On the other hand, He knows how stubborn we are and that we have been given a free will - we do not have to come to Him if we don't want to, and He will never force Himself (and our happiness) upon us.
So, He does the next best thing - He allows us to suffer painful situations so that (hopefully when we have suffered enough on our own) we might abandon our foolish pride and seek His help. What we look at then as “bad things” in our lives in reality are opportunities - opportunities to be healed, and that God might be glorified. With this being the case, the worse the situation, the greater the opportunity!

About Kenny Youngblood..
No one on earth knows more about relationships, marriage and parenting (according to the spoken and written word of God) than Counselor Kenny Youngblood.
This unique distinction however, is far from the result of his own studies, any formal education, nor his nearly five decades of experience as a counselor, but is rather the sole and direct result of divine intervention.
“That God chooses not those qualified, but qualifies those chosen is one of my favorite sayings”, says Youngblood, whose Godly instruction began at an early age:
“I was six years old and in my first grade classroom when the Holy Spirit began ‘training me’ for what I would eventually be called to do, by giving me a vision of who my family members were spiritually – of who they really were."
Kenny would experience a total of seven similarly relevant, supernatural experiences by the time he was thirty.
